A 1996 graduate of the New York School of Law, Jason Weisser began his law career working in the Florida state attorney’s office. During his four years there, Weisser successfully prosecuted murderers and criminals at an elite level, winning more than 92% of his cases.
Today, Weisser advocates for his medical malpractice clients by using his vast knowledge of the Florida legal system and his stellar reputation built over the last 25 years. His winning track record puts pressure on insurance companies to offer a fair settlement because they know Weisser is not afraid to take a case to trial.
Weisser’s dedication and commitment to seeking justice for his clients earned him the prestigious Jon. E. Krupnick Award for Perseverance from the Florida Justice Association in 2024.
A lifelong Florida resident, Greg Cummings found his passion for law after watching family members struggle to navigate the complex legal system. Struck by what his family went through, Cummings pivoted from his planned career path.
While completing a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Florida, Cummings began an internship at a local law firm.
“I really enjoyed helping people and being involved in medicine in that vein,” Cummings said. “At that point in time, I realized it would be fantastic to become a medical malpractice attorney.”
From there, Cummings attended Nova Southeastern University, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the Florida bar in 2016. While his expertise is in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence, Cummings says his ultimate passion is in helping people navigate the legal system.
Matt Podolnick began practicing in Florida in 2014 after spending eight years as a medical malpractice attorney in New York City. After earning a Zoology degree from the University of Florida in 2000, Podolnick earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.
A deeply experienced attorney, Podolnick spent 20 years representing doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice defense cases. Podolnick has successfully argued cases on the state and federal levels, helping him earn a prestigious Band 1 ranking from Chambers and Partners. Podolnick has earned recognition each year since 2021.
While he enjoyed easing doctors’ anxiety and allowing them to focus on their patients, Podolnick says representing victims brings him renewed pride.
Born and raised in Florida, Shane Chernoff graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication. After a short career in journalism, Chernoff pursued a Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law.
After passing the Florida Bar Exam, Chernoff began practicing law in 2017 at a large law firm in Palm Beach County and has been litigating cases across Florida ever since. Today, Chernoff handles a variety of cases with a focus on general liability claims involving auto accidents and slip-and-falls.
In addition to successfully representing clients in auto accidents, Chernoff has secured hundreds of settlements in various types of cases, including medical malpractice, slip-and-fall, interstate commerce claims, and workplace injury claims.
