Greg Cummings is a partner and shareholder at Weisser Cummings Podolnick and Chernoff. Mr. Cummings represents victims who have been injured or killed by the negligence of others, with a concentration in medical and dental malpractice, motorcycle and automobile crashes, defective products, nursing home negligence, and civil rights violations.  

Mr. Cummings’ notable recoveries include a $17.8 million dollar verdict for a client whose leg was amputated in a motorcycle crash, an $8.25 million dollar verdict for the family of a 24-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash, a $2.5 million settlement for the victim of a drunk driver who was catastrophically injured and left unable to work, a $2.35 million dollar recovery for a construction site worker who was disfigured during the installation of a defective concrete pipe, and a $1.3 million dollar arbitration award for a woman who sustained a femur fracture due to nursing home negligence.

Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Mr. Cummings prides himself in giving back to the local community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County Justice Association, a countywide organization dedicated to protecting victims of negligence and injustice, that fights for fair access to the courts of our state. Within the PBCJA, Mr. Cummings has chaired both the organization’s Thanksgiving food drive and its annual golf tournament which benefit local charities. Mr. Cummings is also an EAGLE Associate Member of the Florida Justice Association.

Mr. Cummings has been recognized for exhibiting excellence in the practice of law as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a “Top 40 Under 40” for Civil Plaintiff Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers, and as “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers.

Mr. Cummings received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Cummings received highest grade awards in Legal Research and Writing, both Civil & Criminal Pretrial Practice, Medical Malpractice, and Insurance Law. He also served as Executive Justice for Teams of the Moot Court Society and Lead Articles Editor for the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law.

Prior to founding Weisser, Cummings, Podolnick & Chernoff with his partners, Mr. Cummings worked at one of Florida’s most respected insurance defense firms and, subsequently, at the law firm of Schuler Weisser Zoeller Overbeck & Baxter. His experience as both a plaintiff and defense attorney enables Mr. Cummings to maximize the value of his clients’ cases.

In his free time, Mr. Cummings enjoys spending time with his fiancée and cats, running, reading, biking, boating, and attending concerts.

Mr. Cummings is also conversational in Spanish and is proud of his Hispanic heritage. Pura Vida!
